Junior Footballers played Camogue Rovers last week

Our junior footballers continued their all county football league campaign on Tuesday evening when they entertained Camogue Rovers in round four of the league. Camogue started brightly and quickly converted their early dominance into scores. But Milford battled back well and only for a number of unforced errors by the home side’s stand in goalkeeper would have snatched victory. However, in the end a number of soft Camogue goals proved the home sides undoing. On Friday night, the lads travelled to Rhebogue to play Na Piarsigh in the semi final of the city intermediate championship. Milford fought gamely throughout against a very strong Na Piarsigh side. The defensive unit played very well but in the end Na Piarsigh proved too strong for the gallant Milford men.

Upcoming fixtures: City junior football league v Monaleen, 21st May 7.30 away.
