JB Footballers lose out to Pallaskenry

This week is a big week for the club as our junior a footballers are in action in the city junior a championship with a home tie against Ballybrown. This is a must win match for the Milford lads as they aim to reach the city junior a final for the first time since 2006. The club wishes the lads the best luck and encourages all our supporters to come down and support the team. Throw in at Roselawn is at 7 o’clock.

Last Thursday our junior b footballers travelled to Pallaskenry in the city junior b football championship. Pallaskenry were very quick to settle by half time had raced into a commanding lead. However Milford were a very different proposition after the interval and some excellent points and a Ray Moloney goal narrowed the gap considerably. However some late Pallaskenry scores proved enough to see them through to the semi final. Milford would like to wish Pallaskenry the best of luck for the remainder of the championship and would thank our junior b management team of John Redington, Kevin Keenan and Neil Clancy for their efforts with the lads over the year.

Junior football training Tuesday at 7 o’clock in Roselawn.
