Report from the ACFL vs Banogue

On Saturday evening our junior footballers travelled to Athlacca to meet Banogue in the fourth round of the all-county league. Milford were slow to settle and the home side quickly got in top and some well taken goals saw them lead at half time. Milford were a very different team in the second half and quickly got on top with Dominic Joyce, Alan Hayes and Michael Hayes dominant around the middle. Our pressure paid off with three well taken goals from Mark O’Keeffe and Eanna Kennedy. However, it was not to be our day as Banogue scored two late goals to snatch victory.

Best of luck to all of our players who are currently doing their leaving and junior certificate examinations.

All club members who wish to purchase tickets for the Munster football final should contact the club secretary as soon as possible.

Once again our club website continues to be one of the leading GAA websites in Ireland.
