Report from match vs Ballybrown
Last Thursday night our junior footballers travelled to Clarina for the first round of the City junior a football championship. Milford started very brightly and some fine scores from Ger Collins, Luke McGinty and Cathal Gerathy help settled the team down. A solid first half performance saw Milford lead nine points to three at half time. Ballybrown came out fighting in the second half and after ten minutes the Milford lead had been cut to just four points. However Milford dug deep and two well taken goals put Milford back in the driving seat. The Ballybrown challenge then wilted as Milford tagged on some late points to put a nice gloss on the score. Overall, the team will be very happy with this performance but know that much sterner challenges lie ahead.

Junior football training on Tuesday and Thursday night at 7 o'clock in Roselawn. Management has been encouraged by the strong turn out seen in recent weeks and encourage the lads to continue making a good effort as we continue our championship campaign.

Upcoming fixtures:
City junior a football championship v Monaleen, 1st October in Roselawn.
