Last Week of Indoor Training

All roads lead to Achill Island this week as our junior football panel head to West Mayo for a weekend training camp which will culminate with a challenge match against Achill on Sunday morning. The club wishes to thank Neil Clancy and Gerry McGinty for organising the camp.

Junior football training continues on Monday evening at quarter to eight in the Milford National School Gymnasium. The draws for the league and championship have been made. In the city Junior A football championship we will again face Ballybrown and Monaleen. The city junior a league will comprise the following teams: Mungret, Patrickswell, Monaleen and Milford. Milford will take part in division three of the all-county football league and will face the following opposition: Ahane, Banogue, Camogue Rovers, Castlemahon, Pallaskenry and Patrickswell.

Milford would like to congratulate Mulcair Gaels on their recent victory over Cappamore in the East under 21 football championship. The lads have now ensured qualification for the under 21 B final and can still qualify for the A final and we wish them the best of luck in their final group match against Pallasgreen.

Milford GAA would like to thank all our sponsors for their continued support during the year especially Sean Murphy of the Day Break Castletroy supermarket and the Groody Bar, Castletroy.
