Club Notes 24th May 2010

posted 18 Dec 2010, 06:51 by Unknown user
Upcoming Fixture: Monday 24th vs Mungret in Caherdavin at 7.30pm

On Friday night our junior footballers entertained our neighbours Monaleen in the city junior football league. As both teams had already qualified for the semi finals the outcome of the match was meaningless. Nevertheless both teams fought hard from the off. Unfortunately for Milford, we lost centre forward Cathal Geraty and wing forward Luke McGinty to two serious knee injuries early in the first half. Milford never really recovered and despite a spirited second half performance, it was Monaleen who ran out easy winners.

Upcoming fixtures: Monday 24th city intermediate football championship v Mungret in Claughaun at 7.30.
