Milford Juniors start League Campaign

Last Thursday, our junior footballers travelled to Mungret for round one of the city football league. Milford started brightly and led four points to three mid way through the first half. Mungret then started to get on top and five unanswered points saw the home team lead by four points at half time. Milford were a very different team in the second half and gradually ground down their opponents to run out winners on a 2-15 to 2-12 scoreline.

Junior football training Tuesday at 7 o’clock sharp. All players should be in attendance. City football league round 2 away to St Pats to be confirmed..

We done to the Limerick footballers and our own Ger Collins, who scored 1-6, who won division four of the national football league final in Croke park last Saturday.

Once again our club website continues to be one of the leading GAA websites in Ireland. The website now includes detailed maps of every GAA pitch in the country as well as Limerick’s most comprehensive list of club fixtures and results. 2010 fixtures are currently being uploaded so keep watching the site for the latest results and fixtures:

We would also like to thank all our sponsors for their continued support during the year especially:
