Ballybricken Bohermore take the spoils

Last Tuesday our junior footballers travelled to Caherelly to play Ballybricken-Bohermore in the second round of the all-county football league. A very good first half performance resulted in a deserved 1-6 to 0-3 half time lead for Milford. However Ballybricken-Bohermore upped the ante in the second half and some well taken goals brought them back into the match. Both sides traded points late on but it was the home team who took the points on a 3-10 to 1-12 scoreline. Next up in the all-county football league will be an away trip to Camogue Rovers on the 13th of May.

In the interim our junior hurlers entertain Camogue Rovers in the county hurling league on Tuesday the 6th of May and our footballers travel to Rhebogue on Thursday the 8th of May for the semi-final of the city intermediate football championship against Na Piarsaigh. Football training continues on Saturday mornings at 11.
